Free agency starts next week, the NFL Draft follows shortly after. From what we've seen so far, this offseason should be a memorable one.
It's already started for the Rams, after making a blockbuster move for Chiefs' All-Pro Cornerback Trent McDuffie on Wednesday.
Now, the rumor mill is pushing a new narrative, Maxx Crosby could become a Los Angeles Ram very soon.
The Las Vegas Raiders were cold to the idea of moving Crosby just a week ago, but they seem to have come around. Today, news broke that the Dallas Cowboys were very close to striking a deal with the Raiders to land Crosby. Then more teams came in last second, with enticing offers.
One of these teams, appear to be the Los Angeles Rams. Along with the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears and the aforementioned Dallas Cowboys.
Now, is it truly worth it for LA? That's reasonably disputable. It would take substantial draft capital, as well as reworking existing contracts to acquire the money necessary to take on his contract.
In my honest opinion, based on a rumor that Sean McVay may call it a career following this season, as well as having the league MVP Matthew Stafford, we might as well go all in.
You don't get the opportunity to get a game-breaking veteran every day, you may as well take control of your own destiny and do whatever it takes to win it all.
What would a trade for Crosby look like? I think I have an idea...
Rams Receive:
DE Maxx Crosby
2026 5th Round Pick
Raiders Receive:
DE Byron Young
2026 2nd Round Pick
2027 1st Round Pick
Only one thing is certain, us Rams fans are spoiled rotten.
