Final 53-Man Roster Predictions:
The End

The 2025 Los Angeles Rams Preseason has drawn to a close. The last three weeks have flown by, but it has showcased some star potential at many positions for the team.
Below are my final predictions for the 2025 Los Angeles Rams initial 53-man roster.
Quarterback | 3
QB1 - Matthew Stafford
QB2 - Jimmy Garoppolo
QB3 - Stetson Bennett IV
Cut - Dresser Winn
Dresser Winn has already been cut, and I don't see any possible way that Bennett is cut following the incredible preseason that he has had. The Rams likely see him as the long-term solution at backup. They will carry three QB's the entirety of the season barring an injury.
Running Back - Half Back | 4
RB1 - Kyren Williams
RB2 - Blake Corum
RB3 - Jarquez Hunter
RB4 - Cody Schrader
Cut - Ronnie Rivers, Jordan Waters
Jordan Waters made this battle somewhat interesting when he joined the game late against the Browns, but it wasn't enough in my eyes. One drive doesn't surpass what Cody Schrader was able to do for three straight weeks. This being said, I do hope that Waters finds his way onto the Rams practice squad, they may have a great future depth player with him.
Wide Receiver | 7
WR1 - Puka Nacua
WR2 - Davante Adams
WR3 - Jordan Whittington
WR4 - Tutu Atwell
WR5 - Konata Mumpfield
WR6 - Xavier Smith
WR7 - Brennan Presley
Cut - Britain Covey, Mario Williams, Drake Stoops, Tru Edwards
I chose to keep Presley again this week, I can't find it in myself to put him into the 'cut' zone after what he's done. He can simply do it all; incredible hands, exceptional speed, agile and clutch when it matters most.
He may end up being the team's kick/punt returner at some point this season. The Rams brought in Britain Covey seemingly for that job alone. However, with a player like Presley able to do that job, and be an effective receiver as well, there's no need for Covey.
Tight End | 4
TE1 - Tyler Higbee
TE2 - Terrance Ferguson
TE3 - Colby Parkinson
TE4 - Davis Allen
Cut - Mark Redman, McCallan Castles
McCallan Castles has already been cut and the same should unfortunately be true for Mark Redman soon enough. The Rams will carry four TE's to start, but the possiblity of Colby Parkinson being traded is growing.
Offensive Line | 10
LT1 - Alaric Jackson
LG1 - Steve Avila
C1 - Coleman Shelton
RG1 - Kevin Dotson
RT1 - Rob Havenstein
OT+C - Beaux Limmer
OT - D.J. Humphries
OT - Warren McClendon Jr.
G - Justin Dedich
G - Willie Lampkin
Cut - KT Leveston, David Quessenberry, Dylan McMahon, A.J. Arcuri, Wyatt Bowles, Ben Dooley, Trey Wedig
This battle has certainly become more interesting with the untimely injury to Willie Lampkin, but I have no changes from last week here.
Lampkin will likely be placed on IR following the waiver deadline, and the Rams will deal with that matter separately.
As I stated in previous editions of this, McVay sees something in Warren McClendon Jr., so keeping him on the roster is a no-brainer.
Inside Defensive Line | 5
DT1 - Kobie Turner
DT2 - Braden Fiske
DT3 - Ty Hamilton
NT1 - Poona Ford
NT2 - Tyler Davis
Cut - Larrell Murchison, Desjuan Johnson, Bill Norton, Da'Jon Terry, Decarius Hawthorne, Jack Heflin
This battle really heated up more than initially expected, but it ends up the being the same lineup as it started.
Ty Hamilton got a bit closer to comfort to the possibility of being waived than I'm sure wanted to, but the Rams gave up too much draft capital to let him go with nothing in return.
Desjuan Johnson stood out the last couple weeks of the Preseason, expect him to be a staple on the PS this season.
Outside Linebacker | 4
ROLB - Jared Verse
LOLB - Byron Young
OLB - Josaiah Stewart
OLB - Brennan Jackson
Cut - Keir Thomas, Nick Hampton, Josh Pearcy, Jamil Muhammad
Brennan Jackson ends up winning the battle, unfortunately in a bitter way as Keir Thomas will miss the entirety of the 2025 season.
Jackson has stepped his game up the last two weeks and has earned a spot on the roster. I think even if Thomas was healthy, it would be a competitive battle.
Inside Linebacker | 4
Run iLB - Nate Landman
Run iLB - Omar Speights
Coverage iLB - Chris Paul Jr.
Coverage iLB - Shaun Dolac
Cut - Troy Reeder, Elias Neal, Tony Fields II
Shaun Dolac has been all but confirmed to have made the 53-man roster at this point having sat out the final Preseason game on Saturday, and having seen time with the first team defense at practice.
With this, Troy Reeder seemingly is the odd man out. Many Rams fans may rejoice from this news.
Cornerback - 5
CB1 - Darious Williams
CB2 - Ahkello Witherspoon
CB3 - Cobie Durant
CB4 - Emmanuel Forbes Jr.
CB5 - Josh Wallace
Cut - Cam Lampkin, Charles Woods, Derion Kendrick, Shaun Jolly, A.J. Green
Once again, no changes. The Rams seem to be quite happy with this unit. Rightfully so, it has a lot of potential that is going unnoticed simply due to the lack of big names.
I continue to believe that A.J. Green will be a great PS player for the team in the unfortunate case of one of their starters going down.
Safety - 4
SS1 - Kamren Curl
FS1 - Kamren Kinchens
SS2 - Quentin Lake
FS2 - Jaylen McCollough
Cut - Tanner Ingle, Nate Varcarcel, Malik Dixon-Williams
Valcarcel has been quiet since the Cowboys game, though Tanner Ingle has made his name known. In back-to-back weeks he has made game wrecking and arguably 'dirty' plans to disrupt the opposing teams offense.
Even with this though, I can't see the Rams keeping a fifth safety when they don't need it.
Special Teams - 3
LS - Alex Ward
K - Joshua Karty
P - Ethan Evans
Cuts - None
Once again, no changes, special teams unit is locked!
